This unique style peppermill mechanism is a wonderful working handmade pepper mill or salt mill. It makes for great conversation around the dinner table. It features a ceramic grinder mechanism with a fully adjustable top nut to select the style of grind. Because of the ceramic mechanism, you can use this for either salt or pepper without worrying about rust. I harvested and repurposed this black walnut wood locally, saving it from the landfill or from being burned. The wood exhibits a nice deep umber colored tone. I personally guarantee your satisfaction with this mill. To maintain the beautiful high gloss finish on this mill I recommend an automotive style paste wax with carnauba.  The wax not only cleans but protects. (Please note: You can use this style peppermill to grind salt or pepper.) The mill you see in the photo is the mill you will receive.
