Metal Spinning Combination Tool
Used for spinning and burnishing pewter, aluminum, or any non-ferrous metal – 18″ – unhandled.
Features two spinning tools in one. The flat or broad-shaped side of the combination tool is used for burnishing the freshly spun metal to smooth out the ripples left behind by the “bullet” or conical-shaped side of the tool which forms the metal over the mandrel. The combination tool is made of tool steel and the polished spinning surfaces are ground, filed and sanded to 2000 grit. A final buffing with several different buffing and polishing compounds bring the surface up to a mirror-like finish. This combination tool should be used with spinning grease. Made in USA. Turning the tool’s handle is covered in the Making Candlesticks DVD.
