This antique-style pepper mill mechanism is a wonderful working handmade pepper mill. It makes for great conversation around the dinner table. It features cast metal working parts with bronzed housing. Pepper mill size: 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ x 8″ tall; Salt Shaker size: 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ x  4″. This pepper mill has one of the best range of grinds in any pepper mill mechanism I have assembled. See additional photos of fine to coarse grind and everything in between.

The pepper mill grinder is fully adjustable from fine to coarse with the top flat nut. The matching salt shaker features a stainless steel shaker cap and a rubber bung on the bottom for easy fill. I purchase this Purpleheart from a responsible exotic wood importer. They harvest it from Brazil and it has a natural rich purple color running all around the mill. When freshly cut the wood appears grayish-purple, but after sunlight exposure, it turns a deep purple color. I personally guarantee your satisfaction with this set. To maintain the beautiful high gloss finish on these mills I recommend an automotive-style paste wax with carnauba.  The wax not only cleans but protects.
